David Williams is a highly experienced Solicitor, Director, and the Head of Property at Onions & Davies Solicitors and holds overall supervision of the department. With a career spanning three decades, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of Residential Conveyancing.

David’s primary area of expertise lies in Residential Conveyancing, and he has a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of property work, including:

• Freehold and Leasehold transactions
• New Build Properties
• Remortgages
• Transfers of Equity

Education and Experience

David joined the firm in 2018 to head up and expand the Property Department and has been an integral part of Onions & Davies Solicitors, contributing significantly to the firm’s success. With a remarkable 30 years of experience, David started his career journey by studying at the University of Wolverhampton and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996, having completed his training at Burnetts Solicitors in Carlisle. He has practiced in the West Midlands, Worcestershire, and Staffordshire, initially in Property and Criminal Defence, although he now works exclusively in Residential Property. Previous firms include Lumsden Grindley, Woolliscrofts and Hand Morgan & Owen. 

David firmly believes that effective communication is the cornerstone of any successful transaction. He is renowned for his accessibility and commitment to meeting client expectations. Furthermore, his ability to simplify complex legal matters ensures that clients have a clear understanding of their transactions. David always aims to ensure the conveyancing transaction is as smooth and swift as possible for his clients.

Personal Interests

Outside the office, David attempts to compensate for sitting at a desk all day by engaging in Nordic Walking, following his wife’s horticultural instructions in the garden, walking his dogs and spoiling his grandchildren. He is also a keen archer, being a member of Stafford Archers.
