We first signed the covenant in 2016 and firstly achieved a Bronze award in the Employer Recognition Awards in 2019, and a Silver Award in 2020, of which we are extremely proud.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives. There are now 6,333 Covenants signed across the UK, with 641 in the West Midlands. There have been 139 Covenants signed this financial year.
The Armed Forces Covenant is supported all over the country by businesses of all sizes, local governments and Charities to name a few.
