Simeon Bowen-Fanstone is a dedicated member of the Family Department at Onions & Davies Solicitors, and he is also the firm’s Armed Forces Covenant Liaison. With a growing career in Family Law, he brings valuable expertise and commitment to the firm.

Simeon’s practice covers a broad range of Family Law issues, including:

Education and Experience

Simeon qualified as a Solicitor in August 2018 and joined Onions & Davies Solicitors, in August 2022. Before joining Onions & Davies Solicitors, he worked at high-street firms, a large regional firm in the East Midlands, and a boutique family law firm in the North-West.

Whilst he is experienced in helping clients resolve finances on divorce and dealing with all aspects of financial remedy, he has demonstrated an aptitude for dealing with children work, and he is both knowledgeable and approachable when providing clients with clear guidance on making arrangements for their children, including through the court process where necessary.

Simeon is skilled at assisting parties to reach an agreement but will take a firmer approach when required. Simeon regularly advocates for his clients in court. He prides himself on his empathetic approachability to clients, and he provides a high level of client care, making his client feel at ease.

Resolution Member

Simeon is a proud Resolution member, and he is committed to a constructive approach to dealing with Family Law issues. He works to a code of practice promoting a conciliatory, constructive, and cost-effective approach to Family Law matters.

Armed Forces Covenant Liaison

Simeon is responsible for the firm’s promotion of the Armed Forces Covenant, and he ensures that the firm is adhering to its commitments under the Armed Forces Covenant Pledge. The firm is rightly proud of its current Gold Award Status under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Simeon enjoys spending time with his wife and rescue cat, Jess. Simeon can often be found playing golf, or watching cricket, usually at Edgbaston. His main sporting passion is rugby union, however, and he makes regular trips back to Wales to watch them play at the Principality Stadium.

He is also a keen motorist, and has passed the advanced driving test.

Simeon is a member of St. Bertoline’s Parochial Church Council and is responsibility for updating and maintaining the church’s website and Instagram page.

Simeon also enjoys music, and having played the clarinet in his youth, he has now turned his attention to drumming. As a surprise, he moved a drum kit into his house when his wife was out shopping.
